Adela sighs as her pen marks against paper, her face flushed as she takes in the smell of orange blossom tea, unaware that the very smell is then staining her letter. It's been too long, and so much has happened that... There's a lot to catch up on. ]

Hi Sephiroth,

It's been a while since I've written last. How're you doing? I've been thinking about you, and about last time. I wanna say I'm sorry for thinking that you didn't care. I was wrong to say those things, especially thinking over what you've done for me. Thank you.

A lot has happened since the last time I wrote you, but if you don't want to hear it I won't make you read through it. I just want to hear how you're doing.

She figured that news about Sasuke rejecting her would get around, and that's just natural. But, eventually, she comes across something even more disturbing -- the rumors of a destructive doujutsu.

She's frowning, incredibly tense and writing much more harshly than usual on the scroll she was using before sending it to the Hokage's office. ]

I guess you've seen that rumor magazine going around. How much stock do you think foreigners will put in that doujutsu rumor?

[ She had to know. It was already scary enough to know that she was a potential target because of her bloodline, but if rumors of an 'ultimate doujutsu' were going to start spreading too... ]

I've received reports that some noodles have been arriving with an abnormal taste to them. This is a serious issue, and therefore if anyone has encountered strange tasting noodles, or witnessed strange or suspicious activity involving the transport or handling of noodle shipments, please send what information you have to the Land of Noodles at the soonest possible opportunity, so we can correct this!

Also, if you were to encounter a strange shinobi who requested the opportunity to spar with you, what would be your response?

Given that I haven't managed to be back in the village for more than a day or two in the last two months, I was wondering how everything was going? I'm so sorry if I ruined any plans you might have made around my birthday, since I know you tend to do nice things for the shinobi on those days, and I really hope I didn't waste any of your time or anything.

I was mostly writing to make sure all is well and to see if there are any particular errands that I need to do before I head home after this particular research mission.

I have a request of you, particularly those of you with long hair. What methods do you prefer to employ to tame it on difficult missions, where hair loss is both a significant possibility and a likely method of tracking or detection should stray hairs be lost?

Her thoughts, inevitably, go to him. In secrecy she sends a letter, knowing that the ANBU would likely read it before it got sent to him but otherwise comforted in knowing that she probably wouldn't be questioned. He's her cousin, after all...

[Everyone be prepared, Obito actually had a morning without paperwork... and he was kind of feeling creative... so pictures. A flurry of pictures.

They're in all sorts of colors, drawn with ink and lovingly rendered... but not exactly very good. It's obvious he's tried, and his creativity with seals saved them from being awful... but while the circles are perfect and the lines are straight, the things like, oh, say, trees, are kind of listing to one side, and the animals look just a bit off proportionately.

But he did try, and it kept his aides from trying to give him more work for a morning because he looked like he was busy, so... yay? They'll be arriving over the course of the next few days, depending on how far you are from him. If you're on a mission, the bird will not approach you until you return home.]
