No they have not. My teacher is more practical than the Academy instructors. Your advice helps as well.

Konoha is not known for misplaced battle reputations. You can learn much from someone as creatively ruthless on the field as he's reputed to be. I suspect that you can overcome your own shortcomings so long as you work hard. If he's as good off the field as on it, I'm sure he'll appreciate your efforts.

No, I just happen to have learned to read people well enough to be effective with genjutsu as well.

Adela frowns at the scroll, thoughtful, for quite some time after she'd received it. It isn't meant for her, but why would she receive it then? It doesn't really make any sense...

About an hour after he'd sent it, Adela replied with a message of her own, making sure to seal it properly with a rudimentary seal - one that was acceptable and, hopefully, would keep the message private enough. Seals weren't exactly her strong suit, but at least this should work against basic cracks. ]

I want to write you like this, to try and get to know you again. I miss you cousin, and it's been too long since we've talked at all. You've missed a lot with me, and I'm guessing I missed a lot with you as well.

[He stared at the letter in puzzlement over how she even knew he'd spoken to Ami, and when he replied, it was with the same faulty seal approach.]

Then we should start there, I guess. Uncle and I are doing well; we opened up a forge in the village, and it's probably the most successful one there. A lot of ninja stop by every day to stop by and buy our weaponry. I've even started making some customized orders myself.

He tried to talk me out of being a ninja when I became old enough to join academy there, but I joined anyway. It was kind of tough, but not as tough as Kiri's. They don't start their genin on brutal missions right away here.

And I think I should let you know before you start talking about more personal stuff if you want to, Seph -- your seal failed. Your message to Ami showed up on my scroll. How do you know her?
