[Two missives arrive from Suna, both in fairly official looking packaging complete with security seals that are entirely not of Temari’s doing because they actually work. The first missive is for the Hokage and the second is for Neji.]

[She had waited a few minutes after Karin and her friend had left her office before pulling out her scroll to write a letter to Obito. It felt like this could be an urgent matter, and it really annoyed her that she didn't have many details. And so she decided to start things off as official as she could.]

To Uchiha Obito, Godaime Hokage:

Today we had a visitor from another village. His name is Peter and he was friends with my niece, Karin, before I found her in Kusagakure. But I did not recognize the symbol on his hitai-ate. It looked something like this: ♪ and he said he was a ninja from Otogakure in the Land of Rice. I'm just a little worried because I've never heard of any hidden village there, I always thought it was just civilians there. Did you know anything about this hidden village?

I wish I had more information to give you, but that's all I got before Karin came in and said he was her friend. I asked him to send me more information about his village before he leaves here, but I'm not sure how well that will work. Maybe I should have tried to pump him for more information before letting him go, but I trust Karin's judgment in people. I might try to see if she can tell me anything about him tonight.

[She read it over several times before sealing it behind the familiar whirlpool and assorted characters around the edge. On top of that, she tossed on another seal that would make it flash red every five seconds until it was unsealed. Maybe it was a bit excessive, but she wanted answers as soon as possible. If there was something she didn't like knowing, it was who the neighboring shinobi were.]
