Fellow Shinobi,

I have a request of you, particularly those of you with long hair. What methods do you prefer to employ to tame it on difficult missions, where hair loss is both a significant possibility and a likely method of tracking or detection should stray hairs be lost?

What about when you have to bathe? We've gotta care about good hygiene too, considering that you could be tracked by scent if it's too strong.

Well, then you'd have to deal with the trouble of being attacked while bathing in the first place, wouldn't you?

Yeah, so you'd be in danger no matter how your hair was worn.

But you can't just keep your hair up all the time or you can't clean it properly. Which isn't a big deal if a mission is only one or two days, but some can go on for weeks.

True, but then...if you've found somewhere that is safe to wash oneself and your hair, then there's a presumption of the time required to put it up as well, wouldn't you say?

Presuming you don't wear something wildly inappropriate for the field.

That seems rather extensive just to preserve an inappropriate hairstyle. It would be better to just stay home if you're so insistent on it, I'd think.

Good for you, but shinobi don't have a choice when they're sent on a mission to do just that.

Shinobi should try to have less ridiculous hairstyles then, don't you think?

That might not matter if your mission calls for it. What kind of Shinobi are you?

If your mission calls for a specific hairstyle then the advice on what to do with it doesn't matter! Unless of course, you mean we should practice complex and difficult hair so that it can be done quickly if necessary...

That's exactly what I'm saying. You should be prepared to fight no matter what hairstyle you have, but if you have time and practicality's on your side then tying it up is better.
