[As per usual, he made no attempt to seal his message away from anyone, other than a perfunctory check to ensure certain other daimyo wouldn't be able to read the message. Also as usual, he leaves no signature. Eventually he presumes people may begin to recognize him anyway,if only as the author of similar messages.

For those of you who travel often, do you have different favorite foods between staying home and when you must carry and make food while traveling? Do you have any favorites that cross over both, or food that you appreciate only when one condition of the two are met?

I find that using seals tends to be the most effective method of keeping things fresh, which makes travel cooking much easier. Things that taste better over open flame are usually meats so I indulge in those more in the field.
