[Kakashi had been home all of a few days, and had returned to find all mission reports he'd written up before his leave tucked neatly by his doorway, with a scolding note attached. Normally he'd laugh it off, but these missives being sent back to him put him incredibly behind, and though he might have been a very lazy man... being so far behind made his record look bad, and that was something he wouldn't stand for.

He paused in his begrudging recollection of accounts to raise a pale eyebrow at the turtle that just whizzed through his open window, and got to his feet to pick it up.

Gai being so secretive was practically unheard of, but Kakashi could sense the urgency in his tone, and sat down to reply immediately. ]

Gai-
I'm not in Kiri at the moment, however... Under normal circumstances you know I'd make myself available, but after helping Kushina with her move, I've got a lot of catching up to do back home.
