No, not exactly. "Or something," perhaps. When I told Lee we were dating, back in September, he asked if we were going to be getting married. The three of us.

I had not thought about Lee's question again until now. I am yours forever, Kakashi. We are Rivals, eternally, no matter what. While I would be honored if you would marry me, my Rival, I also understand and respect your decision if you would not. I am not hurt by it either way. Regardless, I am still yours forever. And I would like to be Obito's forever as well, and I know I do not have to marry him to be that either. I am not even sure he would like to get married! He has not shown any interest in that! It is silly that I am even thinking about this!

Out of the three of us, the ones most deserved of commitment as dedicated and special as that would be you and Obito. You have over a decade of romantic history, and in some way it's a logical conclusion to come to.
I think your only battle in this regard will be the short amount of time you've been 'official'. Obito might need a little longer to settle into the idea of firmly belonging to someone, even more-so the special conditions being a husband involves.

I can't speak for him as much as I can't tell you how he'll react - he could surprise both of us either way - but I still say it's certainly worth the shot. After all, my friend, how will you know if you don't try? The one certainty you have, at the end of it all, is that Obito loves you and cares for you, and even if he isn't ready your relationship won't suffer for it. You have nothing to lose, and you most certainly have my blessing.

Ah- for once, believe me, I wasn't being dejected. I simply meant that the both of you are in a much better position to consider that next step than I am.
