[Closed] Kage to Kage communications (backdated to 2nd week of may?)
[The messages comes on the Mizukage's official scroll, and is sealed to all the other official scrolls of the various kages, and any close allies of their five countries. However, the writing is far different than Yagura's was.]
Some information has already reached you, but let's make this official. The Yondaime Mizukage has been killed in an assassination, followed shortly after by the Daimyo of Water Country.
Myself, Hoshigaki Kisame, and Shishito Nanako, have stepped up as an interim measure as acting co-Mizukage until some stability returns. The perpetrators of those two attacks are being rounded up and punished accordingly, as we speak.
While this is temporary, we don't currently have an estimate on how long it will be before the official Godaime Mizukage takes office. I am writing to assure you that any alliances and treaties will be honored during this period. Just be aware that most of our focus will be restoring internal stability.
