I trust that this letter finds you in good health, no doubt endeavoring to hone your skills even further. If it isn't a bother, will you have the time and energy free to serve as my traveling partner for a short time? I cannot guarantee there will be any threat present to be worthy of your time, but I would enjoy your company on the trip I must soon take all the same. Before I take the time to request your presence from your good Hokage, I would like to know if the request is impossible.

As far as I know, I am free until the festival! I am planning on being with my team on the 15th, so if you think I could be back home by that date then I would be happy to accompany you wherever you wish!

[ooc: It should be noted that Lee can travel faster than most shinobi on foot so any return trips (should he make it himself) will cost him only a day or so at most, assuming they remain within the continent.]

Please dress warmly. The fog that surrounds the Land of Water isn't as thick on the Island of Noodles, but it is still present, and where we will be traveling will be much cooler than the weather Konoha usually experiences this time of year. I will ensure that any other details will be forwarded to you should your hokage accept my request.
