I apologize for my inability to write a substantial letter, but pressing matters consume much of my time at present. I would like to extend an invitation to you for a casual visit, but that is unfortunately not a possibility.


Rather than that, has your forge been faring well? If you would indulge idle curiosity, I am curious of how you fare.

I've been better. It could be warmer here too. The forge has been okay too.

Your lack of faith in my skill continues to wound me, Adela. It was merely a rather terrible attempt at kidnapping, presumably for profit. As you can imagine, however, the increased security is an unavoidable consequence for now.
