Kakashi! We should go on a vacation, just the team. Not Minato-sensei, he's tied up with things, but the three of us. Since Obito is Hokage, he can't go far...so let's go to Shukuba town for next weekend! I can cover the planning and expenses, but I expect your help to get Obito to agree.

I'm sure Obito will be easy enough to convince. It's been a while since he had a break, so this could be a very good idea.

I think our main problem, rather than getting Obito to agree, will be keeping Gai out of the loop. I'm not very good at lying to him, though... Perhaps I should ask Obito if he has any better ideas for keeping this hush-hush around our loud friend? Unless you felt like talking to him, of course.

What kind of a ninja isn't any good at lying? If you really don't think that you can do it, then I can tell him not to come, but you're still responsible for making sure he doesn't break the rules and come with anyway!

... I guess I'm the kind of ninja who finds it difficult deceiving his closest comrades. I'd much prefer to just avoid the possibility of his disappointment entirely, but.. given the nature of their relationship, I can't see Gai being satisfied with Obito disappearing unnanounced for a little while...
